ABOUT ABOUT
Brooklyn Ballet's Debut Home Season at The Performance Space at The Schermerhorn features a world premier hip hop/ballet mix by Artistic Director Lynn Parkerson plus a seminal work by George Balanchine. The program also includes reconstructions of period dances by Thomas Baird (baroque dance) and Robert Atwood and Claudia Jeschke (1860's pre-romantic dances). This unique program illuminates the evolution of ballet from its roots in the French court to its migration into today's world.

Special opening celebration performance on Thursday, March 3. Please call Brooklyn Ballet for more information. 718-246-0146.
