"Dressing For The Dance" with Costume Designer Patricia Forelle

This year, Brooklyn Ballet celebrates 10 years of artistic excellence, dance education and community engagement. We kick off our 2011-12 season with DRESSING FOR THE DANCE, an engaging lecture by 2011 Bessie Award-nominated costume designer Patricia Forelle. A portion of ticket proceeds will support Brooklyn Ballet's Costume Fund with a goal of raising $10,000 this season. During the lecture, Patricia will share her design knowledge about the role of the dance in the political, social and economic life of France from Louis XIV to Louis XVI.
